I love passing on pottery skills and hopefully inspiring you to start or continue your creative journey in my fun, friendly and relaxed pottery sessions, for all ages, held at the workshop in Llanidloes .
I offer shorter 1.5 hour sessions (£40) where I teach you how to build a mug, jug or plant pot and longer half day (£55) sessions where you can try out different techniques and equipment in my workshop.
At the end of all sessions, you tell me what glaze you would like me to apply to your piece. Before glazing, the pottery will be biscuit fired, which is why glazing cannot happen in the same session as making the piece. Alternatively, you can decorate your pot with coloured slips and I will then apply a clear glaze. If you’re not local to the area, I can post your item out to you (postage charged at cost).
For larger groups or special occasions such as birthdays and family get-togethers, contact me for more information. I’ve also had a few people book sessions to capture their babies/ young children’s foot/hand prints in clay.
