During this session, you will be using terracotta earthenware clay. It will either be coiling or slab building, depending on your preference which we will discuss before you come. As the session is around 3 hours, there is plenty of time to try a few techniques and use different equipment in my workshop to build your pot. There are a maximum of 3 people in these sessions which allows for plenty of space in the workshop and also means I am able to spend more time with each person.

You will have a finished piece by the end of the session.

After this comes the choosing of the glaze you’d like me to apply. Once the item is dried, fired and glazed I’ll send it (or if you are local you can collect). Postage is charged at cost. The session costs £50 per person.

The session is held in the classroom at No. 27 Great Oak Street.
