Handbuilt using a textured black stoneware clay.

I have added texture to the surface of the vessel and decorated it with a thin layer of white slip. I have applied a clear glaze to the inside of the vessel.

My work is about texture and I love to leave an area of the piece unglazed so you can feel the texture of the clay.

As the outside of the vase is unglazed, I would recommend that you sit it on a coaster to protect surfaces.
